ABOUT DANIEL

Daniel Musisi, AKA “Moose”, is a seasoned, Chicago-based DJ who seamlessly combines classic funk, soul, and disco with the latest pop and urban crowd pleasers to keep the dance floor packed. Daniel has extensive wedding and event experience and has provided music and sound for the world-renowned John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the U.S. State Department, the White House, and, most recently, the 2013 Commander in Chief Inaugural Ball.

A recent Chicago transplant from Washington, DC, Daniel is a cofounder of the FunkDC DJ collective and TrueGrooves record label.  Daniel Musisi has over fifteen years of experience DJing in Washington, DC, including residencies at popular DC watering holes, such as Eighteenth Street Lounge, Local 16, Marvin, Wonderland Ballroom, L2 Lounge, Café Saint-Ex, POV, and the W Hotel. In Chicago, Daniel can currently be found djing at The Chicago Athletic Association Game Room, The Whistler,  The Sportsman's Club, The Charleston, and Soho House.
